Léonard Lassalle has always been a painter. He lived in Paris and in England before moving to Provence in the South of France with his wife Mélinda 16 years ago.

Léonard is attracted by the way light reveals forms and colours on flowers, still lifes, landscapes and the human form. He also is keen to express what Life has brought to him through what he calls "Allegorical paintings."
